The pattern we kept seeing

A contractor writes down how their business runs and it comes out as four steps: win the project, check the crew and schedule it, technicians go out and update, then look after the site through maintenance. Straightforward enough. But the work leaks at three of those four handoffs, and it leaks in a way nobody has a name for.

The tools were never the problem. Nothing carried the job from one handoff to the next, so the schedule lived in the foreman’s head, the paperwork lived in the truck, and the finished site lived nowhere at all.

So we stopped selling halves

It is normal to sell scheduling software to one company and a maintenance module to another. We tried designing it that way and it did not survive contact with the actual flow: everything the maintenance side needs (what was installed, which brand, how long the warranty runs, who signed for it, where the site photos are) is created during the install. Cut the line in half and the site register becomes something someone fills in later from memory, which no one will risk renewing a contract on.

And we changed what we are on the hook for. The install is thirty days and one fee, half on signing and half before kickoff, so the money is settled before the heavy work starts. What we promise is counted on day 30: three numbers read off timestamps and paperwork, not off anyone’s opinion. Short on any of them and we keep working until they are met, at no extra charge. From month four the Care Plan runs month to month, and you can end that in any month. All of it is deliberately uncomfortable for us, which is the point.

What we will and will not claim

This is a new program. We do not have client case studies, we have not yet interviewed enough contractors in this trade, and the delivery time we quote is a target we intend to measure rather than a figure we have already proven. We would rather tell you that than dress up numbers we do not have. What we can show you is the mechanism itself, on your phone, in ninety seconds.
